Eighty-six of the eighty-nine names measured for Thai drama in August 2026 are Thai, and the top of the table mixes GMMTV's generation with the leads who came before.
Jeff Satur is the most famous name in Thai drama for August 2026, with a fame score of 6.3. He is a singer and actor rather than a pure lakorn lead, and the woman just behind him, Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, known as Baifern, is second at 6.1 on the strength of a long run of television and film roles. Urassaya Sperbund, known as Yaya and twice a national Best Actress winner, is third at 5.8.
The next three are level at 5.3 and show the two halves of the sector side by side. Vachirawit Chivaaree, known as Bright, and Phuwin Tangsakyuen, who broke out in the 2021 BL series Fish upon the Sky, are stars of the boys' love wave that carried Thai television across Asia.
