The first working model on the August 2026 Fashion and Beauty list is Kendall Jenner at tenth, below four pop stars, a princess and a tennis champion.
Kim Kardashian holds the top of the Fashion and Beauty list for August 2026 by a tenth of a point. The American designer, socialite and model scores 34.8 against 34.7 for Rihanna, the Barbadian singer and businesswoman. Selena Gomez, at 31, and Lady Gaga, at 30.1, complete a top four in which every name built a beauty or clothing business on the back of a career somewhere else.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, is fifth at 23.3, and Rafael Nadal, the Spanish tennis champion, is sixth at 22.3. The sector gathers adjacent figures, and its leaders are the people whose clothes are photographed rather than the people who make them. Melania Trump, the Slovenian-born former model who has twice served as first lady, is seventh at 21.8, and Jay-Z is eighth.
Kendall Jenner, tenth at 21, is the first name on the list whose primary work is modelling. Emma Watson ties her, on the strength of Hermione Granger and a second career as a model and activist. Georgina Rodríguez, the Argentine model and former au pair, is eleventh at 20, and then the runway names arrive together: Hailey Bieber at 19.7, Gigi Hadid and Gisele Bündchen tied at 18.7, and Heidi Klum, the German-American host and model, at 18.6.
Sixty-seven names were measured across seventeen countries, and 58 are living. Nine of the measured are dead, more than in most sectors, and none of them reaches the top fifteen. The United States supplies sixteen names, France eleven and the United Kingdom ten, which is the shape of an industry whose houses are French and whose faces are American.
