The August 2026 Alive reading of Fashion and Beauty loses nine of 67 names, none from the top, and shows a table that is thirteen women and two men.
Fashion and Beauty carries more dead names than most sectors, nine of the 67 measured, and the Alive reading for August 2026 shows how little of the sector's current attention they hold. None reached the top fifteen, so the living table is the standard one: Kim Kardashian at 34.8, Rihanna at 34.7, Selena Gomez at 31, Lady Gaga at 30.1. Fifty-eight names remain.
Read as a living list, the striking feature is gender. Thirteen of the fifteen leaders are women. Seventeen countries are represented among the living, with France's eleven names and the United Kingdom's ten trailing the United States at sixteen, and no French name in the top fifteen.
