The August 2026 pro wrestling list is led by a man who left the ring for Hollywood, with a UFC champion and a boxer among the names chasing him.
Dwayne Johnson leads the August 2026 pro wrestling list with a fame score of 28, more than eight points clear of anyone else, and the gap says something about where wrestling fame goes once it leaves the ring. Johnson has been an actor first for years, yet the attention he draws still lands here because the world never stopped filing him under WWE.
The sector gathers adjacent fighters, and two of them sit near the top. Ilia Topuria, the Georgian and Spanish UFC lightweight champion, is second at 19.9, and Floyd Mayweather, the boxer and promoter, is fourth at 14.5. Between them is Dave Bautista at 14.9, another wrestler whose second career in film carries his name further than his matches did.
The wrestling core proper begins at fifth with The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar level on 13.7, then Triple H, who now runs WWE's creative side as chief content officer, at 13.2. Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, who has been with WWE since 2000, and Ronda Rousey complete the top ten, with Vince McMahon, Seth Rollins, CM Punk and Shawn Michaels close behind. The Great Khali at fifteenth is the only name in the top group from outside North America's orbit, and even he is Indian-American.
Eighty-nine people were measured across fifteen countries, eighty-five of them living and fifty-eight from the United States, with Canada next on seven. The ranking measures worldwide fame, not in-ring quality, and by that measure wrestling remains an American export with one mixed martial artist and one boxer parked among its biggest names.
