The founder, dead since 1966, tops the August 2026 Disney list at 19.9, with Zac Efron less than a point behind.
Walt Disney is the most famous name on the Disney list for August 2026, sixty years after his death. The American animator, producer and entrepreneur who transformed the entertainment industry scores 19.9, and the only person close to him is Zac Efron, the American actor and singer whose life changed when he landed High School Musical, at 19. One founder and one Disney Channel graduate, and then a drop of seven points.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, the songwriter and filmmaker who reshaped musical theatre, is third at 11.9. Sofia Carson, who broke through as Evie in the Descendants franchise, is fourth at 10.8, and Rachel Zegler, who debuted as Maria in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story and later fronted the live-action Snow White, is fifth at 10.2. Gemma Chan, the British actress who trained as a lawyer at Oxford before switching careers, ties Ross Lynch of Austin & Ally at 8.7.
Below them the list belongs to the channel. Milo Manheim of the Zombies franchise, Malachi Barton of Stuck in the Middle, Asher Angel of Andi Mack and Moisés Arias, who moved from child stardom to gritty adult roles, all sit between tenth and fifteenth. Josh Gad, whose Book of Mormon role earned a Tony nomination and a Grammy, is eleventh, and Stephanie Beatriz is ninth at 8.
