Ukraine's living list is four presidents, a prime minister and two generals

With Michael Jackson removed, the August 2026 Alive reading for Ukraine becomes almost entirely a record of the state at war.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy leads the living Ukraine list for August 2026 at 31.9, and the only change from the standard reading is that Michael Jackson's departure lifts every name below third by one place. Petro Poroshenko is second, Viktor Yanukovych third and Viktor Yushchenko fourth, so the country's four most recent presidents now hold the first four places outright.
That is the story of the living reading. No other country in this issue has its entire recent presidential succession in the top four, and the fact that Yanukovych, who left office in 2014 amid the Maidan protests, still scores 23.4 shows how attention attaches to a name long after power leaves it. Yulia Svyrydenko, prime minister since July 2025, is sixth at 17.5, the highest-placed name who has not held the presidency.
The two generals are the names that mark this list as one from a country at war. Andriy Biletsky, commanding the Third Army Corps, is ninth, and Yevhenii Khmara, the career intelligence officer, tenth.
