Zelenskyy leads Ukraine with four presidents in the top five

The wartime president is nearly eight points clear on the August 2026 Ukraine list, and the country's last four heads of state all make the top five.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine since 2019 and since 2022 one of the world's most recognisable wartime leaders, is the most famous person connected to the country in August 2026. His score of 31.9 leads Petro Poroshenko, president from 2014 to 2019, at 24.1, by nearly eight points.
The presidency dominates the list. Viktor Yanukovych, who held office from 2010 to 2014, is fourth at 23.4, and Viktor Yushchenko, the third president, fifth at 21.9. Four consecutive Ukrainian presidents in the first five places, spanning the Orange Revolution, Maidan and the full-scale war, give the table a shape few countries produce. Yulia Svyrydenko, prime minister since July 2025, is seventh.
Between the presidents sits Michael Jackson, third at 23.7, the only deceased name of the eleven measured. Country lists include foreign figures the country's public life centres on, and the King of Pop places on several tables this issue on the strength of durable recognition. Jennifer Lopez, at eighth, is the other American-tagged name; nine of the eleven are Ukrainian.

Andriy Biletsky, the brigadier general commanding the Third Army Corps, is tenth, and Yevhenii Khmara, the major general at the centre of the country's security apparatus, eleventh.
