Ronaldo at 48.3: no one from Portugal comes within half of him

The August 2026 Portugal list is Cristiano Ronaldo, then José Mourinho, then a national squad, with Diogo Jota the one dead name.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the most famous person from Portugal in the world for August 2026, with a fame score of 48.3. José Mourinho, second at 23.5, holds less than half that. The gap between first and second on this list is bigger than the entire score of anyone below third.
Below the two of them is a team sheet. Rafael Leão of AC Milan is third at 17.4, Bernardo Silva fourth at 17.3, Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United's captain, fifth at 15.5. Luís Figo, the winger of the 1990s and 2000s, is eighth. Nuno Mendes, João Neves and Gonçalo Ramos, all of Paris Saint-Germain, are ninth, fourteenth and fifteenth. João Cancelo and Rúben Dias are tenth and thirteenth, and Ruben Amorim, the manager, eleventh. Thirteen of fifteen names belong to football.
The two exceptions are António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations since January 2017, tied with Fernandes at 15.5 in sixth, and Roman Abramovich at twelfth, a case of the origin tag following where attention groups people rather than a Portuguese life.
Diogo Jota, the Liverpool forward who died in 2025, is seventh at 14.5 and the only dead name in the fifteen. The standard reading places everyone on one scale, and on it he still outranks Figo.
