A sports executive outranks the Emir on Qatar's short list

Eleven people from Qatar were measured for August 2026, seven of them Al Thanis, and the man on top runs a football club.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, listed here as Nasser Al-Kadafi, is the most famous person from Qatar in the world for August 2026, with a fame score of 9.9. He is a businessman, sports executive and former professional tennis player, and he outranks Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir since June 2013, who scores 9.3 in second. A club chairman above a head of state is the kind of order only worldwide attention produces.
Kadim Al Sahir, the Iraqi singer and composer known as the Caesar of Arabic music, is third at 7.1; origin tags follow where the world's attention groups people, and his is an adjacent case rather than a Qatari life. Omar bin Laden, the Saudi-born artist and fourth son of the al-Qaeda founder, is eighth.
