Queen Rania and King Abdullah tie at the top of a royal Jordan list

Jordan's origin list for August 2026 is led by the queen and the king at 11.5 each, and nine of its seventeen living names belong to the Hashemite family.
Queen Rania of Jordan and Abdullah II, king since February 1999, share the top of Jordan's origin list for August 2026 at 11.5 apiece. The engine orders her first. Their son Hussein, the crown prince and heir apparent, is third at 10.2, so the reigning family takes the first three places outright.
The engine measures 17 people from Jordan and all of them are living. Nine belong to the Hashemite house. Khaled Mashal, the Palestinian politician, is sixth. Sirhan Sirhan, who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, is ninth at 6, attention of a very different kind. Mohamed Hadid, the Palestinian-American developer, is fourteenth, and Adham Makhadmeh, the FIFA-badged referee, fifteenth.
There is no musician, actor or footballer in the group. The ranking measures worldwide fame, not merit, and Jordan's attention in 2026 is a monarchy, a chemist and a scattering of people the world knows for other reasons.
