A pop star born in 1994 outranks generals, emperors and party leaders on the August 2026 Vietnam list, the most history-weighted table in the issue.
Sơn Tùng M-TP, the singer, rapper and producer born in 1994, is the most famous person connected to Vietnam in August 2026, at a score of 57.5. Ten points behind him is Võ Nguyên Giáp, the general who died in 2013, and the list from there runs deep into the country's past.

Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, a former president, is seventh, Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, prime minister from 2006 to 2016, tenth, Phạm Minh Chính, prime minister since 2021, thirteenth, and Võ Văn Thưởng, president from 2023 to 2024, fifteenth.
Amee, the singer born in Hanoi in 2000, is ninth and the only other entertainer in the top fifteen. Every one of the 129 names measured is Vietnamese, with no foreign figure in the top hundred, and the confidence label is medium. Two young pop names at the top and a century of statecraft underneath is a shape no other list here repeats.
